Head Trainer / Owner Joseph James:
Joseph James is a Marine Corps veteran, prior law enforcement and corrections officer, and owner of Hard Corps Tactical. Hard Corps Tactical is where Joseph teaches law enforcement, military, and responsible citizens safe and effective firearms and close hand-to-hand combative skills. During Josephs’ time as a law enforcement officer, he was afforded the opportunity to work alongside multiple agencies in central Louisiana with the training and development of police K9’s in apprehension, tracking and detection. His passion to work with K9’s grew extensively after his time in law enforcement where he went on to train pet obedience for a nationally recognized organization as a head trainer and handler in south Louisiana.
Joseph’s desire to grow as a trainer and handler birthed the start of Professional K9 Solutions and has lead to competition sport (IPO & PSA), obedience, and volunteering his time with law enforcement agencies and their K9 teams. Joseph has trained under some of the best trainers in the nation and recently became certified as a Police K9 Training Instructor.
Joseph has become a sought after trainer and has attracted the attention of several professional athletes from the New Orleans Saints not only for his skills, but for his passion to teaching and the animals themselves.
His background and experience allows him to offer many avenues ti help bring solutions to his clients and their K9 family members.
